Students visit Cyprus

Course Leader Carley Sutton and Dr Philip Stone took 32 second year students to Cyprus as part of their study visit module.

During the five day stay at the Hotel Navarria in Limassol, students had a busy schedule which combined exposure to professional practices in tourism, hospitality and event establishments and locations as well as experiencing local Cypriot culture.

The students had the opportunity to meet with key industry professionals including the President of the Cyprus Tourist organisation, along with HR and Quality managers from the Four Seasons Hotel.

They also enjoyed an exclusive 'behind the scenes' programme of events.Students also visited UCLan Cyprus campus for a tour and dedicated talks from industry professionals on sustainable tourism and the MICE industry in Cyprus.
