'I really am enjoying working at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin. The experience I have gained from working for such a large organisation that is undergoing many changes right now (with Marriott purchasing the Starwood brand) will help me so much in the future.'
'I am fully cross
trained in all Front Office departments, have had a large part in helping
successfully rolling out a brand new internal software within our team and
due to this, I have formed close relationships with our housekeeping and
Engineering team as well as becoming a ‘go-to’ person for any questions
regarding the program. Back in November, I applied and became one of the
trainers for our new staff along with assisting in developing a brand new
training program, which is due to be implemented within the upcoming
weeks.'
'During my time in
Orlando, I have also taken time to visit other places in the US and have learnt
a number of different thing about the American culture that I never knew
before. I have to say, taking this year out of University has helped me
grow more as a person, made me think about what I want to do with my
career and I really would recommend it to anyone. As I receive 30 days
after my program ends to travel, I have planned a road trip, straight across
America.'
