Institute to host student Masterclass

The Institute of Transport and Tourism is hosting a trans-national student Masterclass as part of the ongoing Interreg-funded Citizen's Rail Project.

Students from across our Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management programmes will work with their peers from a number of European universities to engage in real world research which will provide project partners with marketing solutions.

The Masterclass features site visits, expert speakers and workshops with professionals at a variety of locations around Lancashire, including UCLan's Media Innovation Studio.

At the end of the two-day workshop, to be held at the end of March, students will present their ideas to industry delegates.

This represents an exciting opportunity for establishing stronger links with top universities on the continent, whilst offering students the chance to gain experience and enhance their future careers.
